How I Got Here

I started creating webpages when I was eleven.

I learned by experimenting, and eventually figured out how to make them myself. By high school, I was leading a small team in school website competitions.

Over time, I discovered that while I enjoyed design, I was much better at bringing someone else's designs to life than creating them myself.

Frontend development turned out to be a natural fit. It gave me a little of both worlds: the creativity of design and the logic of programming.

This portfolio started as an experiment in using AI throughout my creative and development process, from exploring ideas and visual directions to design, prototyping, coding and testing.

I worked alongside AI throughout the process, refining ideas through multiple iterations and stepping in to make manual changes whenever it gave me better control over the result.

My work focused on ongoing Drupal content production and website maintenance, working with regional teams to implement updates, troubleshoot issues and keep content consistent across markets.

Client Brand Direction Brand guidelines by Saje + Spark Design, used as the visual reference for my WordPress and Elementor implementation.

A redesign of an existing WordPress e-commerce website, based on a template selected by the client and adapted to fit Amabelle's brand guidelines and content.

I worked directly with the client throughout the project, incorporating their feedback and rebuilding the site in Elementor.

A Little More About Me

I love watching Broadway musicals, solving puzzles, and ordering an unreasonable amount of bubble tea!

Outside of work, you'll usually find me playing games on my computer.

I spent many years in World of Warcraft, where I made friends from all over the world. Interestingly, one of those friends introduced me to advertising agency work.

Apparently, all those hours in WoW were good for my career after all!

These days, I spend more of my time in Final Fantasy XIV, taking on challenging raid fights with friends. I also play the occasional shooter or crafting and survival game.
